My experience (both past & present) with SuperMediaStore has be excellent. MY recent order (invoice# 847355) for a multitude of items, such as: TDK DVD+R media and Ritek DVD-RW media arrived exactly as advertised and in a very timely manner; in fact, the items, much to my surprise & gratitude, arrived much sooner than expected!
When shopping for computer related accessories, I always check SuperMediaSotre's website first. This loyalty stems from the continuation of positive experience after positive experience with orders placed with them, regardless of 'size' of my order; I receive the same treatment on orders for a little as $8.00 to as much as my last order (#847355) which was for $289.98. Here is a shortened list of the 'top-5' reasons I make SuperMediaStore my first choice when shopping around for an item(s):

Purchase was simple enough but I didn't receive notice that my order was backordered until 8 days after my initial purchase. And I only knew of the backorder when I inquired about my order status via email. Supermediastore never proactively let me know my order was on backorder. The order eventually shipped on Feb. 13th but isn't expected to arrive until Feb. 19th. I think the shipping cost is grossly excessive as well. $27.53 to ship 5 lbs. of DVD-R's and cases from california to new jersey? And then have to wait 6 days for delivery? I don't think I will be buying from supermediastore again. The prices are not worth the lack of communication or the insane shipping costs they charge. |

Not only did they have exceptionally LOW prices for the remanufactured toner cartridges I ordered, the shipping was reasonable and almost exactly 48 hours later I had the toner in my printer working just great! Shipping was a little strange. I tried tracking my order on their website since they didn't give me an actual tracking number for a delivery company, but it kept saying "UPS tracking data not found", or something to that effect. They ended up shipping with the US Postal Service, but delivery was very fast. Therefore, the only complaint I have would be shipment tracking, but other than that, their products were great quality, their prices were fair, and overall, this company is above average! |

Supermediastore has been a very good supplier...when all goes well. On my last order I paid for 2 day air. The package arrived 5 business days later. Supermediastore refused to issue a refund on the shipping, or even an in-store credit to compensate me. They got their money, UPS got their money, but I didn't get my service. The package was delayed one day because of bad weather, but there was no excuse for the other two days of delay. I missed a deadline, so this hurt my business very badly. Supermediastore basically did not care and was willing to lose a customer over a $46 shipping fee. I need a company who will support me when there are problems that are out of my control and that hurt my business. |

I bought DVD+R and paid a hefty price for a pack of 50. The first surprize came when the shipping charge came. The company advertized Free Shipping, but it conveniently forgot to disclose that it was only on very few select products. The second and bigger surprize came when I got the package and got DVD-R which are cheaper and not in 50-pack, but two 25-pack.
Update: After shipping the package back at my expense (so I am paying for shipping twice at this point), I got email from the store and here is the quote "We're sorry, but there was nothing wrong w/ your item and the 15% restocking fee applies to all returns. Comparing to many other online stores, returns are not even possible
unless for the exact same product." In fact, there was EVERYTHING wrong with the order, I got WRONG product. The tracking number for the package shows that it was delivered back on 5/14/04. As of today, 5/25/04 I have not seen any refund, nor do I have any hopes of seeing it. I filed a dispute with my credit card company.
This is definitely one company I will stay away from. |

My order went through fine on Sunday, I received an email Monday evening because I had misspelled my billing city/zip code. I called him (daniel) back that day. He was very nice and the error was fixed quickly.
The only problem is when I got the shipment today. I ordered a 100pk of clear dual slim cd cases. Only one side of the case will actually hold the CD in place (if you flip it over the other side will fall out). The overall quality is very bad, and I just assume they are all manufactured like that. The cases also came warped (not a big deal). I know Supermediastore usually has great deals on good media, but the dual slim cases suck. These are mainly for my backups anyway, so it's not important to me that they stay clipped in when open, but I'll be spending more time to find another store with dual slim cases to buy from next time.
I would still buy from them if I needed media though.
Update: So I went through the RMA process, they didn't give me any emails regarding the status. I called them a couple days ago and they said it was refunded, so all seems fine. I check my credit card online today and it seems they have taken off a 15% restocking fee. I specifically mentioned in the RMA form to tell me if there would be a 15% restocking fee to return these (in which case I would've just kept the cases), and of course they didn't say anything about it. That plus the fact I had to pay to ship back this product that they KNOW is defective (just read the other reviews on here). I'm done dealing with them, I wouldn't even recommend buying media from them, there ARE other reputable media sellers online. |

I Purchased a 50 pack of Taiyo Yuden 8x DVD+R's. They cost me $32 with shipping and tax included. Thats an excelent price considering that Taiyo Yuden makes pretty much the best optical media available. My order arrived on the March 9. This was extremly fast considering shipping was supposed to take 3-5 days. The DVD+R's burn at 16x with my Plextor burner. Finally I would like to mention that the packaging was adequate, so I am not sure why so many people have siad that it was not. |

According to their policy, they need to send me a return label (will have to wait 2 days) I send back the wrong item, after they verify it is returned, they will send the correct product. This means I will have to wait at least a week for the error to be corrected. They offered nothing to make it right. Supermediastore has terrible customer service; their representatives did not care that they would lose a customer. I informed the customer service that I no longer wanted to deal with them, and that I wanted to return the items I purchased. Their answer was that they would not refund the shipping costs I had already paid.
It is ironic because they even have a "what if I was sent the wrong item" question in their FAQ help section. They were clever by saying "Oh just give us a call and we'll take care of it". The only thing they took care of was pissing off a customer by making me wait 3+ weeks for a simple pack of dvd+r discs.
I ate the shipping costs, and they lost a customer. I will never shop there again, and I would suggest to other potential customers to stick with more reliable internet retailers because supermediastore isn't one of them. |

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Dealing with this store is a nightmare! Ordered an item and they called to tell me the debit card company had my incorrect address. After pleading with them to recheck, they told me they made a mistake. After sorting out their error, I lost free shipping and rebatedue to a delay created by them.
I cancelled order and I'm hoping to get the charges removed from my card.
In my opinion these people are incompetent and I will never use them again. The site that suggested them will be notified of their incompetancy. |

I can order fine from most places. Here's the kicker - just try to call these guys. Their phone system is a joke. My complete order arrived a couple days later. All items were well packaged and arrived in good condition. All item were exactly as advertised/described on their site.
I appreciate the fact that they advertise the actual manufacturer/make of the media on their web site. It cost a little more but hey... at least you know what you are buying.

I have been in sales in the tech industry for 17 years and I have yet to run into a competitor or business that was so unresponsive, hard to get a hold of, rude, just plain bad at business, customer service, fulfilling their commitment in my life. Believe me I have had a lot of experience. I ordered on the 23rd of Jan and have yet to receive the software that should have come with a drive I ordered. I have supplied them several times with the info they required because they didn't believe me and still nothing. I have been told many times that it was shipping out the next day and still nothing. I am so irritated by the lack of service that I am going to go way out to see that they are dealt with. I am starting with the BBB and the FBI for internet fraud. If you know what is good for you...you won't give this store a chance to do the same to you. |

I had a very pleasant experience with Supermediastore.com today. I recently ordered 200 pk (4 spindles of 50) Linkyo 8x DVD-R Inkjet Printable blank media. I found physical flaws on the printable surfaces after opening up the 1st spindle. I opened up the remaining 3 spindles and found them to have the same problem. Called the RMA Department to receive return instructions.
The RMA Representative, Daniel, was very understanding and courteous. I was a bit upset because I ran out of blanks & I growled a bit more than I should have, complaining away about paying my own shipping back. Daniel prompty issued an RMA number and recommended I talk to Louis, the rep who handles shipping and related issues.
Louis was in a meeting, and Daniel said he'll have him call me back. Literally, 3 minutes later, I got a call from Louis. After discussing the nature of the defects found, Louis offered to issue a paid-for return label. This was unheard of for me. The other big sellers such as Shop4tech and Newegg stand by their return policy. No matter the nature of the return, the customer is to be responsible for the return shipping cost. I was pleasantly surprised indeed.
I admit I was fuming mad about the defective discs, but the excellent customer service provided by Daniel and Louis helped a lot. Getting manufacturer related defect at one time or the other is unavoidable; however, excellent customer services makes up for it. It makes a world of difference.

I was told that I could and then told how to place the order. The ink comes individually so its easy to mix and match them. I had a message on my answering machine saying they cannot mix and match and are sending me something else. What? I called and asked to speak to a manager. I got Curtis. Curtis is one of those people who should not be a manager. We both knew he could fix this, but instead he did everything he could do to keep telling me No. I asked to cancel the order. Sorry, but your credit card has already been charged - you'll have to refuse shipment or request an RMA number when you get the product. But I didn�t approve this charge. This is not what I ordered. Fraudulent charges? You bet. Could Curtis have been more helpful? Absolutely. Would he help? Absolutely not. I can't do business with companies like this and I warn all of you, take the time to research other companies who are in your corner. Companies who care about their customers. Supermediastore.com is not one of them. |

I have been buying from Supermedia Store for more then a year with no problems until now. I recently purchase shipping Labels ACC04X0001-001 Compatible with Avery 5164- They were 8.00 a pack and they had a listing of Final Sale! I received the labels and I placed them in my HP laser and after only printing one sheet they were jamming in my laser. Supermedia should post a disclaimer that these labels can not be used in a lase but only for Inkjet printers. I wrote customer support explaining the problem and I told them I understood that the sale was final but they should at least refund me the cost of shipping defective labels. They refused to do so. It seems they do have good prices but very poor product and bvery poor customer service, I will look long and hard before making another purchase from them! |

After ordering a 200 pack of Prodisc 8x dvds, I received them and found that they wouldnt work good (Skipped and so forth), So I placed a call to SMS and got a RMA # and sent them back and my money should be back in in a day or so, As soon as my bank clears it. Customer service is spot on, Especially in my case. I remember a time when I had a messed up order (UPS's fault, Not SMS) and Louis called me personally to tell me that they were looking into it. Bad customer service, I think not. |

Terrible customer service and poor communication. I placed my order on 11-12-2004 and everytime that I checked, the status was listed as "on-hold". I emailed customer service with no response. I saw that my card had been charged for the order and yet it hadn't been shipped. I took the time to call the customer service department and they told me that the card shouldn't have been charged and that I needed to do a credit authorization form due to differing bill to and ship to addresses. I never got notification of this and they refused to get the product that I had ordered almost TWO WEEKS prior shipped out overnight. BUYER BEWARE!! |

Company refused to refund or exchange for cartridge with manufacturer's defect. After many emails, faxes, etc., finally convinced them to exchange for a new cartridge. The new cartridge didn't work either.
Got a great cartridge from a competitor and it worked fine.

I purchased a Prodisc 8X DVD-R Silver 39.00 Inkjet Hub Printable 100 pack in cake box from this store. The item arrived my faster than expected, and the item was exactly as described. The price was awesome, and the shipping wasn't expensive.

This is a follow-up to a previous review I made a few months back for Supermediastore.com.
In an effort to save some money, I switched to the Linkyo 8X DVD-R several months back. Since Linkyo does business as Supermediastore.com, I gambled that they would maintain reasonable standards of quality with their own brand. The reviews for the disks looked very good for the most part, so I tried them and was very happy with the results - at least for the first 1000 disks I ordered.
However, Linkyo apparently switched suppliers for their brand, and the latest batch I got had a new media code - and absolutely horrendous quality. After struggling for a few days, I finally gave up and shipped them back to Linkyo, requesting an exchange for a batch of disks that worked. I specifically asked for an exchange, not a refund, on the RMA form.
However, Supermediastore.com did not honor my exchange request, but instead simply refunded my credit card. The only problem was that Supermediastore.com does not refund shippiing costs (15% of the item cost, FYI). I had paid the shipping to return the disks, so now I was out of pocket both ways in the transaction.
So a word of warning to anyone doing business with Supermediastore - if your disks are defective, you are going to lose money no matter what. Supermediastore will not exchange bad disks at their own expense, but will instead force you to pay the shipping costs. |

I was in the market for a high-speed Secure Digitla Media Card (SD Card) for my Pentax *ist DS DSLR camera, and went looking for the best deal I could find on Memorial Day weekend. I checked out all kinds of bargains at the New York/East Coast discount photo online merchants, used Google, PriceGrabber, and ResellerRatings.com, for 2 days before I realized how much prices had come down since I last bought an SD Card. I paid about $80 for a 1GB 45X PQI SD Card from Newegg.com last year when I bought the Pentax DSLR, and I was seeing 1GB cards for $30-$35, 2GB cards for $45 to $60, but I was most surprised to find 4GB cards for about $100, some with rebates.
Well, I didn't want the hassle of a rebate, so I concentrated on finding the best deal without one. On a whim, I checked out Meritline and SuperMediaStore.com, just to see what they had, and I'll be darned if both stores didn't have 4GB 150X (very high speed...data transfer up to 22-24MB/sec) SD cards for $92.99 and $92.95 respectively. I specifically tried to find another PQI SD card, because I've been very happy with the performance of my 1GB PQI card, and both stores had it for the above prices. So, wanting the lowest total price, and best deal, I opened up two new browser pages and went through the ordering process with each store, right up to the step where you give credit card info.
I ended up going with SMStore.com because they charged less CA Sales Tax than Meritline, so the total price of my order for the PQI 150X 4GB SD Card was about $1.50 less at SMStore.com.
I felt completely sure that I'd found the lowest priced 150X PQI brand 4GB SD Card on the internet, so I completed my order there late Saturday night (5/27/2006).
Surprisingly, the order process went very quickly at SMStore.com this time. They must have changed something at their web page, because as soon as I opened up a fresh web page to actually do the order, all of my personal info was there, unlike previous orders where I had to enter everything manually each time. I got an immediate order confirmation via email, and I was done but for the waiting for delivery.
I again chose UPS Ground shipping because SMStore is in the same UPS zone as I am (SoCalifornia), and I expected to receive the new SD card on Wednesday 5/31. Pleasant surprise though! They shipped on 5/29 (a holiday), and I got the order on 5/30. Way to go SMStore.com! The order was securely packaged/wrapped, and it arrived in perfect shape. I was very pleased with things and couldn't wait to try out the new 150X PQI SD Card in my Pentax.
I installed it into the camera, and started out shooting some RAW (10MB files per picture) shots of my parrots, and the camera and SD card worked together a LOT faster than with the 1GB 45X card. It was obvious that the new card writes to media fast, so that shooting at the camera's maximum speed, 3-5 frames per second, was going to work out much better.
So overall, I give SMStore.com a 10 for this order. They had the best price for the item, the ordering process improved compared to previous orders there, and I got 1-day shipping out of UPS Ground service. I'll remember this order well for the future, and couldn't be happier with SMStore.com's performance. |

This used to be a good place to purchase media and such from, now one would be lucky to get anything from them. My last order was shorted 200 dvd's and they claim there is nothing they can do unless I ship them back the ENTIRE order complete with the packing slip/invoice. This would mean that I lose any evidence of the order and would not be able to take any action on recieveing a refund. Sounds like it's time to go to Shop4tech, at least they have FREE shipping. |

Three months ago I purchased two Premium Compatible Color Toner Cartidges from SuperMediaStore.com for $126.78. When I installed them yesterday, I discovered that both are defective. I replaced them with HP OEM cartridges and my HP 2550 printer functions perfectly.
It took me several days of trying before I was able to reach the company (three emails, internet research on this site and others, and a number of attempted phone calls).
However then I was told that it is over their 30 day return period. So in spite of selling defective merchandise, SuperMediaStore.com refused to make any adjustment.
My advice:
1) Do not buy from this company. Read the reviews and believe them!
2) If you must buy, be sure it is something you can use immediately (don't plan to keep supplies that you purchase from SuperMediaStore.com on hand). If you try them out right away, it will still give you a lot of grief to try to return them, but at least you will be within the stated 30 day return period.

Ordered and received 50 House Brand DVD-R blanks. They were visually of good quality (not splattered with and oozing cement like allmediaoutlet's house brand DVD-Rs) but were not compatible with my Toshiba SDR-5002.
I returned them and to my amazement, I was issued a full refund with no questions asked. No restocking fee, no "we don't refund shipping" bull, just a prompt and courteous refund. |

I must admit. I only just made my online purchase, and just received confirmation email. So anything relating to shipments, damaged goods, customer service and/or return policies will not apply. But, I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents regardless. I was referred to this site by a website called 'digitalFAQ.com', whose advice I followed about best online stores to stick with. Being a rookie media/ computer accessory buyer, I did. I went for Taiyo Yudens, regarded by many as some of the premium DVD-R's out there, and was also windows shopping for DVD cases. They had 100 of the black ones, at $25.00, then i left the window open for hours, delaying purchase, typical me. Suddenly, when i went back, the price had gone down to $10.00 for the same cases. Then I left the imac asleep while I was asleep, woke up this a.m., and suddenly my idled "checkout page" still had the DVDs there, and the 100 DVD cases were now listed at $0.00, all of it for FREE SHIPPING, which they didn't have available for me last night! Needless to say, I jumped on it, and even though I don't know for sure if I'll be breceiving DVD stuff, or bags of shredded paper, for now, I'm ecstatic. Even if the DVD cases are faulty or whatever, I paid not 1 cent for 'em, so who cares. As for the website, I found it easy to navigate, with plenty of good deals available, plus countless other sub-pages for things i may never even need. I am HAPPY with this site, and if all the stuff arrives in a fairly speedy amount of time, without shipment errors, etc, I'll re-post on this site to confirm it. Delivery was timely, but product was sub-standard. I ordered a remanufactered toner cartridge that claimed to be as good as original. I was very unsatisfied, because the pages I printed came out looking dirty (the toner wasn't properly scraped of the drum as it printed, causing reprinting. The merchant refused to pay shipping for the return. I wound up paying close to 20 $ in shipping for something I couldn't use. |

My order was delayed for almost a week due because I paid with Paypal. I believe this was a one-time problem but I wanted to share my experience regardless.
I found the items I wanted and placed my order with ease via Supermediastore's website. I then went through checkout. Shipping prices were more than reasonable and I proceeded to select a payment type. Paypal is offered as a form of payment during the checkout process. After selecting Paypal as a form of payment I was immediately redirected to the Paypal website and paid for my order. I received a receipt via email from Paypal within minutes.
26 hours later I got a request for payment from Supermediastore through Paypal. I thought this was odd so I emailed them explaining that I had already paid and then forwarded on my Paypal payment confirmation email. 5 days later I had no response so I emailed their customer service. They responded within 24 hours and we worked out the problem after I again sent them the Paypal payment confirmation email.
My order was processed and delivered within 2 days after working out this payment snafu but I'm leary of using the Paypal payment option again. Personally, I love using Paypal as a form of payment and I wish this transaction had gone a bit smoother. |

Purchased 50 pcs of 4x DVD-R by DVD-ON. They shipped 50 pieces of no-name DVDs that were purportedly 4x, in opened spindles. When I emailed them to inform them of the incorrect shipment, their response was that they only come 25 or 100 per spindle. They ignored my query about the no-name item being shipped. I told them that I believed they shipped their own house brand that sells for roughly 60% of the DVD-ON brand instead of what I ordered. Again, they ignored the issue of this "bait and switch."
They did willingly take them back, and after a couple of emails they mailed a prepaid UPS sticker. They also fully refunded my credit card, including the shipping costs. Point is, though, I believe they tried to pull a fast one and make a huge profit margin, plus they wasted my time and energy.
Went to ESBuy.com and found the 4x DVD-ON product for roughly $20 less when the free shipping is factored in. ESBuy.com shipped the correct product & quickly, too. Too bad I did not find them in the first place! |

Just recieved my second order from Supermediastore and both orders where on time, both orders were free ground shipping, UPS each order took five working days, no surprise there, and not bad for free.
Both times I purchased 100 Ritek G04 DVD-R's with 100 black DVD book like cases COMBO, high quality cases like you get when you purchase a brand new DVD at the store.

OK, so you�re considering purchasing from supermediastore.com, and you want to make sure they�re a good company. Well let me tell you.. I wish I had checked this website before I purchased from them. I purchased a 100 pack of dual CD cases. After product finally arrived, I opened it to find that the cases were badly scratched and cracked due to careless packing. I thought, alright, I can do with twenty or so bad cases. But that wasn�t it. I then tried the cases out, only to find that the claws that hold the disks in place break upon entering the disk. Obviously, the cases defected. OK so supermediastore has bad quality control, I thought. I figured I�d just return them. I was wrong. Supermediastore would not recognize the flaw in the design of the case, and would not refund the money unless I ship them back the cases. To me, this is completely illogical. They expect me to pay the ~$20 shipping to return a broken product, so that they can refund the money? Ridiculous. This is why they have a .83 Return and Replacement rating. These guys do not want to help you. They are about one thing, money. They do not care about you or your problems. The ratings don�t lie, stay away from supermediastore. There are plenty of other options. |

I received a number of items the first time I ever ordered. The HP compatible laser jet cartridge worked fine and was very inexpensive versus other web sites or retail stores. The ink jet cartridges were not tried until 4 months after purchased and did not function properly. I ordered and promptly received 4 toner cartridges. When I went to use them, the first one was very streaky - indicating a broken wire inside. The second one had a defective tape strip which wouldn't pull out all the way. Calling the company they wouldn't stand behind the products, claiming my order was more than 30 days old. The failures had nothing to do with the length of time I had them in storage. Would never buy from them again |

this is my first review on this system, so i will try to be brief.... so far i have burned 100 of the 200 discs i bought from supermediastore.com, with no coasters. i have the disc page saved in my bookmarks/favorites, so i can check it periodically for the sale price. and then whenever i am below 200 discs, and the item is on sale, my plan is to order another 200 pack. this review is for the order i received a couple of weeks ago. it was like 3 or 4 business days shipping; on time and properly packed. great price, free shipping on item i got, packed properly, on time. 000 signing off. |

do not buy their discounted dvdr's. i bought 100 dvdr's for 61 cents each and they are defective. cant read or write to the last 200mb of the dvdr. i tried a different brand and it worked fine. do not buy from here. they sell defective media. |

I ordered TDK 16x DVD-R 100 pack and Linkyo 52x CD-R from supermediastore. The packaging is terrible and the box they sent my media in was all beat up and about to fall apart. The TDK DVD-R that was in a spindle had the plastic casing cracked. Luckily none of the DVD-R's were damaged inside the spindle. The 200 pack 52x CD-R I bought that was in tape wrap got separated by poor packaging also. Luckily the tape wrap still held most of the CDR's together still. The packaging is very poor. It looked like they just picked up a wet broken box and threw the items in there and taped it. Oh yeah, I have to say that the pink styrofaom they used to package and ship with is very annoying. It's like they bought used styrofoam or found left overs from somewhere. The pink styrofoam is a mess and gets all over the place and sticks to all your items you purchased inside the package. All I can say is when I saw my package delivered to me, I was like "WTF!" I'm not most impressed by their poor packaging. This is my second purchase and it is worse than the first, decided to give them a second shot but, guess I was wrong to do business with them. Until I see any improvement at their practices I will take my business elsewhere. |

I have been using Supermediastore for a couple of years now to run my in-house CD/DVD duplication biz.
I have generally be extremely happy with their ship times, product quality and customer service.
I have only had a couple times where I bought the cheapo CDs and got what I paid for, I also had a run of coasters one time recently on a Taiyo Yuden (top quality) run, but they stood behind their product and refunded my loss!
So in conclusion, they are truly a SUPER media store! Fast shipping, reliable service and products (99% of the time)and all at a great price! Highly reccomend these guys! :)

In my opinion, supermediastore.com has bad customer service, bad products and a bad and inflexible return policy--DO NOT SHOP AT SUPERMEDIASTORE. Several months ago I purchased some "bargain-priced-non-brand-name" printer ink cartridges. Since I still had several brand-name carts left, it took me a while to start using the new ones. As I started using the new ones, I began to notice a pattern--they did not work reliably. By the time I got around to calling supermediastore in order to return the defective products, they informed me that the 30-day return period had expired. I explained why it had taken me so long to realize that the products were defective and I asked only for a refund on the reamining carts. I was told "no". I asked to speak to the person's supervisor, he also told me "no". I asked if the return policy could be modified in this one unusual situation, he said "no". I asked to speak to the supervisor's supervisor, he said he "doesn't have one". I say, DO NOT SHOP AT SUPERMEDIASTORE. Note that supermediastore has posted a repsonse to this review. As you can see, the only thing they can say is that their return policy is 30 days--more of the same inflexible, rule-reading crap--I rest my case. |

This was my first experience and I am happy. I ordered a 100 pack of Mediapro DVD-Rs for $66 with free shipping. The box was well packed, and the media looks to be of good quallity despite the very low price. The shipment arrived in three business days after ordering over the internet. I am using a Pioneer A05 DVD Burner and have had no problems so for. These write at 1x, both of my Standalone DVD players, an Apex ad-600a and a Daewoo 5800 play the DVDs with no problem. |

I am 100% sure that the DVDs were offered as free shipping and even today the site says "Free Shipping on orders over $55"
