First Aid For Adults
First aid kits are available at just about any local department store, however, it is usually less expensive to create your own. This way, you can get each individual item as you like it. Pencil boxes or any plastic box can be used to keep the items in. The essential items include, but are not limited to:
*alcohol swabs are also great for disinfection and protection.
* scissors are handy for cutting Ace bandages in case of a sprain.
*thermometer are essential items to have.
First Aid For Children and Babies
There are a few extra items that a child or baby's first aid kit should include.
* Rectal or children's Motrin will help break the pain and fever.
* Vaseline and hydrocortisone cream are great for rashes, bug bites and general irritations.
* Children's sunscreen and rehydration fluids like Pedialyte are must haves for a day at the beach.
